About the Artists' Registry...
Woman Made Gallery’s website
www.womanmade.org provides information
and services valuable to women artists and the public. Because of our steady
growth and due to heightened public interest WMG in collaboration with our web
designers, Galganov and Associates, has
developed an on-line Artists' Registry to offer all women artists the
opportunity to have their own professional web-page. This is an effective tool
to show your art to a wider audience, including gallery directors, curators,
jurors, and collectors. You can promote yourself by including your website and
e-mail address (included in this package) on your business cards and other
promotional materials and you may even be able to deduct it from your
taxes. WMG does not take any commission on sales of your work but will
function as your contact address should you decide not to include your own
contact information.
Your BASIC web page may include from 5 to 15 digital images of your artwork
(self-portrait or photo for mainpage is optional - WMG recommends that you
select one of your artworks for the main page), biographical information and
contact information. Woman Made Gallery Membership
(http://www.womanmade.org/membership.html)
is desired butnot required. WMG Staff will help you with all items that will
make up your web site. WMG will actively promote the Artists'Registry on the
Internet, in our newsletters, in press releases and in other publications.
The ADVANCED Webpage includes up to 30 images of your artwork and all items
described in the Basic Webpage. There is an additional fee of $10 for each
slide above the basic 15 slides price.
Please read all information provided in this section of our website
carefully and if you like to participate in the Woman Made Artists' Registry,
click here to download the contract and forms,
sign and return it together with the completed registration form, biographical
information, photo or self-portrait (optional) at least five but up to 15
slides of your work (for a total of up to 16 images), a self-addressed stamped
envelope and the signed contract and send it with your payment to Woman Made.
